Hashwani Family emerged as one of the important business houses in Pakistan in late 60s, when it gained a pivotal position in the export of Rice, Cotton, Barley & other Food Grains. Consequently upon nationalization of the export in Cotton & Rice, the Hashwani Group diverted its resources in developing residential properties and Hoteliering. Having completed the two Holiday Inn Hotels (now Marriott) in Karachi & Islamabad and a large number of other construction projects, the Group embarked on further diversification in various Commercial & Industrial Ventures.
